TA01 | Oberschleißheim

SMART twin house ON THE OUTskirts OF MUNICH
Tannenstraße 1, oberschleissheim

In the beautiful community of Oberschleißheim, two representative semi-detached houses are being built, which are so generously planned that the whole family will find room to live in them, but also private retreats. The terraces and balconies are south-facing and thus guarantee many hours of sunshine and bright, light-flooded interiors. The property itself is surrounded by well-kept grounds and a city forest.
Thus, future residents will enjoy views of a green, natural environment and their time at home in a quiet neighborhood. Despite the rural setting, you will by no means live remotely here, but in a popular, well-connected suburb north of Munich. S-Bahn and bus stop are quickly reached on foot or by bike.

Oberschleißheim is best known for its magnificent palace complex. It consists of three individual buildings that were constructed in the 17th and 18th centuries: the Old Schleißheim Palace, the neighboring New Schleißheim Palace and Lustheim Palace, which is located at the eastern end of the palace park. The complex is not only one of the most important baroque buildings in Germany, but is also popular with residents and visitors alike today - whether it's for jogging or walking in the park or for a leisurely get-together in the listed palace inn with its accompanying beer garden. Close by is another attraction: Flugwerft Schleissheim, a branch of the German Museum, delights with various aerospace exhibits and regular events. On sunny days, it's worth taking a trip to the picturesque Mallertshofer See lake or the nearby Regattaparksee lake with its adjacent regatta course. Built in 1972 as a rowing course for the Olympic Games, it is now used for many sports and cultural events. Tennis, horseback riding, golf, swimming lakes and the regatta course - there is a wide range of challenging sports available in the immediate vicinity. Munich Airport and the Allianz Arena are within easy reach. Not least because of the optimal transport connections to the airport and the Munich city center via A92 and S-Bahn, various research institutions such as the veterinary faculty of the LMU, a branch of the German Weather Service and the Helmholtz Zentrum München have settled in the community.
