EI23 | Oberschleißheim

Modern twin house on the outskirts of Munich

Eigenheimstraße 23 | Oberschleißheim

Two prestigious semi-detached houses are being built in the beautiful community of Oberschleissheim, which are planned so generously that the whole family will find space to live, but also private retreats. The terraces and gardens with their western exposure ensure a balanced sunny climate: plenty of light in the afternoon and evening, without the intense midday heat.
The property itself is surrounded by well-kept grounds. As a result, future residents will enjoy the view of a green, natural environment and their time at home in a quiet neighborhood.
Despite the seemingly rural backdrop, you are by no means living in a remote location, but in a popular, well-connected suburb to the north of Munich. The S-Bahn and bus stop are within easy walking or cycling distance.

Castle community with history and recreational value

Oberschleißheim is best known for its magnificent palace complex. It consists of three individual buildings that were built in the 17th and 18th centuries: the Old Schleißheim Palace, the neighboring New Schleißheim Palace and Lustheim Palace, located at the eastern end of the palace park. The complex is not only one of the most important baroque buildings in Germany, but is now popular with residents and visitors alike - whether for jogging or walking in the park or for a cozy get-together in the listed palace restaurant with its beer garden. Another nearby attraction is the Flugwerft Schleißheim, a branch of the Deutsches Museum, with its various aerospace exhibits and regular events. On sunny days, it is worth taking a trip to the picturesque Mallertshofer See or the nearby Regattaparksee with its adjacent regatta course. Built in 1972 as a rowing course for the Olympic Games, it is now used for many sporting and cultural events. Tennis, horse riding, swimming lakes and the regatta course - there is a wide range of challenging sports on offer in the immediate vicinity. Munich Airport and the Allianz Arena are within easy reach. Not least because of the excellent transport links to the airport and Munich city center via the A92 and S-Bahn, various research institutions such as the LMU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, a branch of the German Weather Service and the Helmholtz Zentrum München have settled in the municipality.
